Where the Wild Things Are

After a morning of church and playing with the kids, it was time to break out the books. Because of weight restrictions on my luggage, I was not able to bring very many, but did bring some for the school. I thought I’d give them a test-run today to see if the kids would be interested… We read a book about the jungle, The Tiny Seed by Eric Carle and Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak. The mesmerized group included pre-kindergarten through JHS kids and Grace even passed two of them on for her mother to read.

Those photos are amazing! It is joyous to see the love of reading and books in the eyes of your students. It is so crystal clear your heart and passion belong here.
